Leeds City College is one of the largest further education institutions in the country with more than 20,000 students and is one of the biggest providers of apprenticeships regionally.
The college is part of Luminate Education Group, which consists of Leeds City College, University Centre Leeds, Leeds Sixth Form College, Keighley College, Harrogate College, Leeds Conservatoire and the White Rose Academies Trust.
The college operates out of three main campuses: Printworks, Park Lane and Quarry Hill with smaller provisions in communities across the city. The new Quarry Hill Campus, based in the Cultural Quarter in Leeds, opened in September 2019.

The schools and departments within the college focus on building relationships with employer organisations, unions, chambers of commerce, awarding bodies and the local enterprise partnership.
