City of London Primary Academy Islington is one of several academies sponsored by the City of London, all of which are expected to exhibit the five attributes of outstanding educational provision. These simple and effective principles are the essential drivers that deliver outstanding outcomes for learners and are key to the success of City of London Academies.
Opened in September 2017, the school is currently in temporary accommodation while the permanent school is being built on the old Richard Cloudesley School site, to the north of the Golden Lane Estate. COLPAI is a non-selective, fully inclusive school. Pupils are drawn from and reflect the local community and, with the exception of looked after children and siblings, places are allocated by distance.

Much Dewchurch Holiday Cottages
Lowe Farm & Much Dewchurch Cottages is a family run business with Lowe Farm being owned by the Scudamore family since 1947. The holiday cottages are now run by Handley and Micaela.
The Lowe Farmhouse was built in 1870 and was part of a glass works before being turned into a working farm. It was then tastefully renovated in 2004 into a spacious holiday property and offers accommodation for families, friends and groups for special occasions. It boasts the added benefit of a great spacious games room, with a three-quarter size snooker table and football table. With the addition of an extension added in June 2018 the Farm House can accommodate up to 22 guests, perfect for large families or a get-away with close friends.
The old Scudamore racing stables have been converted into four beautiful cottages with each cottage taking its name from a horse that once trained there. A family run business the cottages were originally the old Scudamore racing stables converted back in the late nineties. Set in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside with panoramic views over The Black Mountains. The village has a 14th century pub just a 10 minute walk from the cottages and the local shop is just 1 mile away.
With golf, horse riding, fishing canoeing and many more activities at hand. For a great get away to rural England, Herefordshire offers a wonderful opportunity. Convenient for Hay-on-Wye, famous for its literary festival, Ludlow with fine food, Brecon and the Forest of Dean for walks and cycling, and Cheltenham with its famous race course and shops. Visit castles, historic houses and ancient churches. Shop in the market town and take a little of Hereford back home. Shops 1 1/2 miles, public houses 1/2 mile.
