Our Meter Reading Systems Communications Hub is designed and manufactured by Meters UK Ltd. The Meter Reading System can read up to three utilities and is a web-based, fully automated, cardless system.
As a landlord, you choose your utility provider; we program the system to meet your needs and ensure that all money paid for utilities by your tenants gets paid to you. No broadband or internet is needed for the system to work. Payments are made online, and meters are topped up remotely. The landlord has full access to usage, payment and credit reports through their dedicated landlord portal. Cash payments are available with the X6 mobile device.
Our team will speak to you to find out your exact needs. We will give you an online demonstration of how the tenant and landlord portals work and will then, on your instruction, send you a quotation detailing all your requirements.
On acceptance of the quotation and receipt of payment, we will then send you the contract, which will include documentation, which you will need to return, detailing meters location, banking details and amounts you would like to charge your tenants either collectively or individually.
Meters will be despatched to you within 10 working days, or sooner if required. Your fitter will on completion of the installation call our technical department, so that we can ensure the meters are working correctly and we can communicate with them. We will then activate the meters and they will be live for your tenants to top up.
We ensure that all meters are working and if we encounter any issues, we contact you immediately. Our team are available to assist and are happy to liaise with both you and your tenants.
